Dr Sabha Ahmed
Dr. Sabha Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic & Interventional Neuroradiology at NIMHANS, Bangalore, where she integrates advanced clinical practice with high-impact academic work. Her areas of expertise encompass cerebrovascular disorders, with particular emphasis on cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) and the rete malformations of the Circle of Willis, especially their genetic underpinnings. Beyond these, her clinical and research interests extend to stroke, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, pediatric neurointerventions, neuro-metabolic disorders, and novel imaging approaches such as ASL, perfusion imaging, and 4D DSA.
Dr. Ahmed has contributed multiple publications and letters to leading journals, advancing understanding of rare vascular and neuro-metabolic pathologies. She has also been actively engaged in research that bridges fundamental neuroanatomy, disease pathophysiology, and imaging innovations—an approach that reflects her commitment to combining science with clinical translation.
She serves on the Scientific Committee of ISNR 2025 and is a Case Editor for the ISNR “Case of the Month (COTM)” series, roles that highlight her active involvement in shaping academic discourse and advancing collective learning in neuroradiology
